Today we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror for the driver's side of your vehicle. This product fits a 2007 to 2012 Dodge Nitro. The side view mirror is going to be a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle. This is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It does feature power remote capability. That way you can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from inside the vehicle.
It's also going to feature heated mirror glass that's going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice, as well as reducing fogging. That's going to an OE grade flat glass with first surface plating to reflect clear images. It does feature a breakaway design, so if the mirror is struck from the front of the back, it will break away to deter breakage. The housing on the unit's going to be made from a durable plastic construction with a nice textured black finish. This is an easy no-drill installation. It's going to use the same foot print and mounting points as your factory mirror and then the mirror's going to plug into the existing electrical wiring.
The original equipment or OE number is 55157191AJ and please keep in mind that the power remote capability and heated glass of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
